Terms of Use

Who this agreement is with
This is an agreement between you and Formula Cheer, 65 Oakwood Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use the app — you can still take part at the gym and handle everything at the front desk.
Your account
- Accounts are for adults — a parent, a legal guardian, or a staff member. Athletes do not get logins.
- Your sign-in link or password is yours. Do not share it. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Keep your details accurate, especially emergency contacts, allergies and medical information. Coaches rely on what you put there when something happens on the floor.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
Money
The season packet you sign is the financial agreement. It sets tuition, fees, due dates and what happens if a payment is late. This page does not change it and does not repeat it — if you want the numbers, read the packet for your athlete’s team or ask us for a copy.
What the app itself does:
- Tuition is billed once a month per team, however many times a week that team practises.
- The season runs 11 payments, June through April. There is no May payment.
- Tuition is not pro-rated — joining part-way through a month does not reduce that month’s tuition.
- Tuition is not paused for injury, illness or absence. A spot on a team is held for the season.
- If tuition and a fee fall due on the same day, they are combined into a single charge.
- You can choose to pay a season up front instead of monthly.
If a charge looks wrong, tell us before paying it. We would much rather fix a mistake than argue about a refund, and billing mistakes are our responsibility to correct.
Safety, waivers and medical information
Cheer and tumbling carry a real risk of injury. That risk, and your acceptance of it, is covered by the waiver and medical clearance you sign — not by this page, and nothing here limits or replaces them.
What the app does is carry that information to the people who need it. If your athlete has an allergy, a condition, or a restriction from a doctor, put it in their profile and keep it current. Staff act on what is recorded there.
Messages and posts
Team channels and announcements exist so coaches and families can organise practices, comps and travel. Keep it to that. Do not post anything abusive, harassing or discriminatory, do not share another family’s private information, and do not use the channels to advertise or sell.
Remember that a team channel is full of other people’s children. Photos and video of athletes other than your own should not leave the app without those families’ agreement.
Gym staff can remove a post or a photo, and can remove access for anyone who will not follow these rules.
Using the app properly
- Do not try to reach another family’s information, or any part of the app your account is not meant to reach.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the site, or to get around its sign-in.
- Do not scrape or bulk-download information from the app.
- Do not upload anything harmful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
What the app is and is not
We work hard to keep the app accurate and available, but it is a tool, not a guarantee. Schedules change, a practice can be cancelled at short notice, and the site can be down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Never rely on the app alone for something that matters right now — a pickup time, a comp call time, a closure. If it is time-critical and you are not sure, call the gym on (224) 288-3320.
Ending access
You can stop using the app at any time; ask us and we will close your login. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where a family is no longer with the gym. Closing a login does not settle money owed and does not change anything in the season packet.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date at the top and tell families in the app. Continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
